Let routine work for you

I build software that takes specific jobs off people’s hands: it collects price lists, keeps storefronts current, answers customers. Five of these products run every day.

01 / Work

Seven
products

Five run every day, one was handed over to the client, one is a prototype. Open any of them: inside is what it was like before, what made it hard, and what came out of it.

  1. 01 Price-list parser Prices from WhatsApp Suppliers send prices over WhatsApp, each in their own way. The program reads those messages and assembles one master price list on its own. before17 Pro 256 Deep Blue USA — 1105 (9)afteriPhone 17 Pro 256 · Deep Blue · $1,105 · 9 pcs Live →

02 / Approach

Order
instead of heroics

Good automation goes unnoticed: in the morning the work is simply done. Three rules behind all seven products.

I

Conversation first, code second

I start with the person doing the job by hand: where time is lost, what annoys them, what they are afraid to break. That is how the price-list parser grew out of supplier chats.

II

Done means in daily use

A product is done when people use it every day. Updates, outages and support after launch are my job too.

III

Honest about limits

If a task is not worth automating, I will say so. If the software does not know something, it should say so itself rather than pretend everything is fine.

About

My name is Pavel Tarasov, I am based in Moscow. Fourteen years in business and operations, ten of them running my own electronics retail company: international logistics, private investment, supplying a national retail chain.

Alongside that I launched a subscription VPN service from scratch and grew it past a thousand paying users.

For the past year I have been removing manual work from companies — the thing I do best. The seven products above are the result of that year.

What I am looking for

A job or projects where manual work needs to go

Bringing order to operations: process automation, rolling out AI tools, matching and maintaining data across systems. Open to both a full-time role and project work.

I’ll look at the task

If you have a routine where data is moved around by hand, I will take a look and tell you honestly whether it is worth automating. Looking for a developer to join your team? Get in touch as well.
