A site that
quotes a price
in a minute

A website for a decorative-plaster and microcement craftsman: textures, finished work, a cost calculator and enquiries sent straight to Telegram. Built from scratch — from layout and logo to launch on 3 October.

Plenty of work,
nowhere
to show it

The craftsman had many finished projects and reviews on Avito, but no single place where it was all gathered. A client could not tell Venetian plaster from microcement, and there was no way to estimate a price without a phone call.

People choose a finish by eye and count the money in advance. So the site has to show texture up close, name a price right away, and never lose someone who has decided to send an enquiry.

What makes it hard

Decorative finishes sell on the picture. If the photos are crooked and the page is heavy, nothing else matters.

01

Photos taken by whoever was around

Project shots were taken on different phones, at different angles, with sockets and cables in frame. A script brings them to one standard: crops, rotates, straightens leaning verticals and covers clutter with a clean patch of the adjacent wall. Dozens of shots look like one photo session.

02

Video must not get in the way

The first-screen background video comes in two versions, wide and vertical, cut into a seamless loop. It will not autoplay if the visitor has asked for reduced motion or is saving data, and a pause button is always there.

03

A site with nothing extra

Built without heavy site builders: three small files, about fifteen hundred lines in total. So it opens fast even on a phone, and the photos are compressed without losing quality.

The price shows
before the call

The client picks a finish, an area (as a number or from room dimensions), ceiling height, wall condition and city — and immediately sees a price range for the work and a price per square metre. The estimate is preliminary; the exact figure comes after a site visit. That is stated right next to the number.

01 Prices live in one place “From” prices are written on the finish cards, and the calculator reads them from the same place. Change a price and it changes everywhere.
02 Calculates the way the craftsman would Ceiling height and wall preparation change the price, out-of-town jobs carry a surcharge, and anything below the minimum order is charged as the minimum.
03 The estimate is never lost “Get an exact quote” sends the parameters along with the enquiry, so the craftsman calls back with the numbers already in hand.
Cost calculator: thin-layer finishes, 40 m², ceilings up to 3 m, Moscow — 48,000–60,000 ₽

Enquiries
never get lost

01 Straight to Telegram A bot sends the craftsman the name, phone number, estimate and where the visitor came from. The phone number is validated and normalised.
02 A copy on the server Every enquiry is also written to a log, so it survives if the messenger happens not to respond.
03 Spam blocked without a captcha Bots that spam forms are filtered out by an invisible trap: a person never sees it, a bot falls into it. A real client never has to prove they are not a robot.
04 You can see what brings clients Yandex Metrica tracks 11 actions: call, WhatsApp, Telegram, estimate, enquiry. The Max messenger is wired into the code and will switch on once the craftsman passes the platform’s verification.
